Nachdem Forscher des Max-Planck-Instituts für Mikrostrukturphysik ihn mit Metallionen infiltriert haben, hält der doppelt genommene Faden sogar einen 27,5 Gramm schweren Würfel, drei Mal mehr als ein natürlicher Faden.
