Bei science4you.org, wo neben der Datenbank des Tagfalter-Monitorings Deutschland auch das Online-Meldeportal der Deutschen Forschungszentrale für Schmetterlingswanderungen (DFZS) geführt wird, sind in diesem Jahr schon 300 Sichtungen mit jeweils mehr als 25 Distelfaltern erfasst worden. Die Grafik zeigt die starken Schwankungen in den Jahren 2005 bis 2009.
