Unten links ist das Ergebnis zu sehen, das die herkömmliche Fluoreszenz-Mikroskopie liefert, oben rechts die Aufnahme mit der superaufgelösten Variante dieser Technik (dSTORM: direct stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy), entwickelt von Professor Markus Sauer von der Universität Würzburg.
