Das Innere der Sonne ist beispielsweise nur wenig komprimierbar und durch Unterschallströmungen bestimmt (oben links), wohingegen das Plasma des frühen Universums vermutlich durch starke Kompressionen und Überschallturbulenz dominiert wurde (unten rechts).
