Die Langhornbiene (Eucera notata) gehört zur Familie der Wildbienen (Apidae), von denen es allein in Deutschland mehr als 550, weltweit sogar über 20.000 Arten gibt. Als Bestäuber von wild- und Nutzpflanzen übernehmen sie deshalb eine zentrale Rolle.
