Die Totenkopfschwebfliege (Myathropa florea) gehört zur Familie der Schwebfliegen (Syrphidae). In Mitteleuropa ist sie weit verbreitet. Man findet sie vor allem in Wäldern, aber auch auf Halbtrockenrasen und in Gärten.
