Manipulationssequenz für das Verschweissen eines Nanodrahtes zur Raman-Spektroskopie, überwacht im Elektronenmikroskop: a) ein Nanodraht wird vom Siliziumrasen gebrochen und auf den Goldkopf gekippt; b) die noch unverfeinerte Spitze des Spektroskops kommt in Kontakt mit dem Nanodraht; c) die Spitze bringt den Nanodraht senkrecht in Position; d) Spitze und Nanodraht werden per Elektronenstrahl miteinander verschweisst; e) die verfeinerte Nanospitze wird aus dem Mikroskop entfernt; f) Halter mit feiner Spitze fertig für den Einsatz bei der Raman-Spektroskopie.
