Farblehre: Der Quasar PKS 1251-407 in unterschiedlichen Farben. Das Bild wurde mit GROND am 2.2m MPG/ESO Teleskop gemacht und zeigt den Quasar in unterschiedlichen Filtern im sichtbaren und nahen Infrarotbereich. Der Quasar ist in den Bildern unterschiedlich gut sichtbar. Daraus kann man schließen, wie weit er entfernt ist.
