Mit einer automatisierten Zaunflechtmaschine erleichterte Prof. Dr. Antonio Nisch (r.) von der Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen vor einigen Jahren die Arbeit einer Bocholter Firma. Jetzt tüftelt er in Kooperation mit einem anderen Unternehmen an einem Schweißverfahren mit künstlicher Intelligenz. Die Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen bietet ihr Forscherwissen an, um gemeinsam mit Unternehmen Innovationen zu entwickeln. Seit Januar 2007 tut sie dies auch als Mitglied der Innovationsallianz Nordrhein-Westfalen.
