Die ehemalige "Volksformel" nutzte Teile des VW-Käferst zur Motorisierung der kleine Flitzer. Über 3000 Fahrzeuge dieser größten Nachwuchsrennserie der Welt gab es in den 60er und 70er Jahren. Große Rennfahrerkarrieren begannen mit der damals wie heute günstigsten Form, Formelrennsport zu betreiben. Diese Ausstellung eröffnet Innen- und Außensichten der faszinierenden Welt der "wildesten Rennserie aller Zeiten" (Rainer Braun).
