Hier gibt es viel zu viele Blüten für die wenigen natürlich vorkommenden Bienen, Hummeln und anderen Blütenbesucher für eine optimale Bestäubungsleistung. Mandelbauern in Kalifornien benutzen Honigbienenvölker, um ihren Ertrag zu sichern.
