Typescript pages from a novel by the underground author Vladimir Kasakov, who could not be published in the USSR. On top is a covering letter adressed to Wolfgang Kasack, dated June 4, 1977. Kazakov repeatedly approached Wolfgang Kasack with the request for an illegal publication abroad. Books by Kasakov appeared in 1976 and 1978 in Kasack's series "Arbeiten und Texte zur Slavistik".
