At the Hannover Fair this year (April 11th-15th, 2005), the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) will present the innovative, production-oriented use of the laser, from micro-machining to glass processing. Various processes such as cutting, drilling, and welding on different materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, silicon or glass reflect the wide range of research and development work taking place at the LZH.
Visitors to the Hannover Fair can see one of the smallest pictures in the world (a complete drawing imaged onto a single pixel-point with a resolution of 60,000 dpi), or glass panes cut with a laser, without splinters or cracks! Other highlights such as laser micro-processing or laser welding of crane structures can be seen at the LZH stand in hall 15, stand F 34.
