Aktuelle Themen aus der IT-Praxis stehen im Mittelpunkt beim Hochschultag von IBM und der Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (HdM). Von 8:45 Uhr bis 16 Uhr stellen Spezialisten aus dem Bereich Business Consulting Services der IBM ihre Projekte und deren Technologien vor.
Wolfgang Berger, Senior Consultant bei IBM Business Consulting Services, beschreibt beispielsweise die Initiative "Proactive Infrastructure". Dabei wird für Projekte in der Applikationsentwicklung eine spezielle Plattform für Entwicklung, Test und Produktion zur Verfügung gestellt. "Proactive Infrastructure" wurde 2004 von der Fachzeitschrift Computerwoche ausgezeichnet. Über die Karrierechancen in der IBM referiert Michael Weisshaupt, Professional Development Leader bei IBM Global Services.
Gäste sind beim Hochschultag herzlich willkommen. Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist kostenlos. Sie wird von Bernard Clark, IBM Business Consulting Services, und Professor Walter Kriha, Studiengang Medieninformatik der HdM, organisiert.
