Der Bayreuther Spezialist für Komplexe Analysis, Professor Thomas Peternell ist kürzlich zum als Nachfolger der Aachener Professors Wolfgang Dahmen zum DFG-Fachgutachter bestellt worden.
Bayreuth (UBT). Als Nachfolger von Professor Dr. Wolfgang Dahmen (RWTH Aachen) ist der Bayreuther Mathematiker Professor Dr. Thomas Peternell zum September 2005 als Fachgutachter der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft bestellt worden.
Der Inhaber des Lehrstuhls Mathematik I/Komplexe Analysis der Universität Bayreuth gehört dem achtköpfigen Fachkollegium 312 "Mathematik" an. Dieses Gremium bewertet u.a. Anträge und Gutachten über Forschungsvorhaben und erstellt Entscheidungsvorlagen für den DFG-Bewilligungsausschuss.
