Herr Oberarzt PD Dr. Ekkehard W. Hauck, Leiter der Sektion Operative Andrologie der Klinik und Poliklinik für Urologie und Kinderurologie des Universitätsklinikums Gießen und Marburg, Standort Gießen hat vom Wissenschaftlichen Komitee der Europäischen Gesellschaft für Sexualmedizin (ESSM) für das Jahr 2005 den ESSM Clinical Award of Excellence verliehen bekommen.
Dieser Preis wird am 6. Dezember 2005 in Kopenhagen an Herrn PD Dr. Hauck verliehen und ist verbunden mit einer Ehrenlecture über 20 Minuten über sein spezielles Arbeitsgebiet - Novel Aspects of Peyronies Disease-.
