Am 30.11.2005 beendet Dr. Jürgen Ederleh aus Altersgründen seine mehr als 35-jährige Tätigkeit bei HIS.
Nachfolger von Dr. Ederleh ist ab dem 01.12.2005 Herr Prof. Martin Leitner.
Dr. Ederleh trat am 15.04.1969 bei HIS ein, unmittelbar nach Gründung der Gesellschaft. Er war zunächst als Prokurist tätig und übernahm ab 01.01.1986 die alleinige Geschäftsführung der HIS GmbH.
Prof. Leitner hat Mathematik und Informatik an der TU München studiert und dort promoviert. Er war zunächst in der Industrie und in einer Großforschungseinrichtung tätig und wurde 1992 an die Fachhochschule Ulm mit einer Professur für Mathematik und Medizinische Statistik berufen; danach übernahm er eine Professur für Mathematik an der Fachhochschule München, ab März 2002 war er dort Leiter des Fachbereichs Informatik und Mathematik.
