10. Tagung am Institut Arbeit und Technik
Anwender von Bibliothekssoftware aus der gesamten Bundesrepublik treffen sich am 23. und 24. September im Institut Arbeit und Technik (IAT/Gelsenkirchen) zur 10. Tagung der BIS-LOK-User-Group. Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stehen das Bibliothekssystem BIS-LOK, seine Perspektiven und mögliche Ablösesysteme. In zehn Referaten werden Erfahrungsberichte aus verschiedenen Stadt-, Ministerial- und wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken vorgestellt, es geht um geplante, vollzogene und gescheiterte Umstiegsstrategien, effiziente Partnerschaften von Bibliotheken und IT-Dienstleistern und die Frage der "Einführung einer neuen Bibliothekssoftware - Hölle, Fegefeuer oder Paradies?" Über 100 Teilnehmer haben sich zu der Tagung angemeldet, sechs Firmen stellen ihre Bibliothekssysteme an Ausstellungsständen vor.
