Rund 400 Erstsemester werden nächste Woche ihr Studium an der Fachhochschule Potsdam beginnen. Die Feier zur Eröffnung des Wintersemesters 1999/2000 findet am Dienstag, 05.10.99, ab 10 Uhr im Hans-Otto-Theater am Alten Markt statt.
Prof. Dr. Helmut Knüppel, Rektor der FH Potsdam, wird die Studierenden feierlich begrüßen. Den Festvortrag "Was hat eine Hochschule mit Existenzgründung zu tun?" hält Elmar Pieroth, Osteuropa-Beauftragter des Regierenden Bürgermeisters von Berlin.
Nach einem Willkommensgruß der Studierendenvertretung wird Prof. Dr. Knüppel den FHP-Preis für hervorragende Diplomarbeiten und den DAAD-Preis verleihen.
Musikalisch umrahmt wird die Feier von der Gruppe "Ziguri Egozoo".
Ab 19 Uhr findet auf dem Campus der FH an der Pappelallee ein gemütlicher Abend mit der Band S.O.S.E. statt.
