Die Technische Universität Ilmenau lädt ein zum 51. Internationalen Wissenschaftlichen Kolloquium (IWK) vom 11.-15. September 2006. Die diesjährige Tagung wird ausgerichtet von der Fakultät für Elktrotechnik und Informationstechnik und steht unter dem Thema "Informationstechnologie und Elektrotechnik - Komponenten und Systeme, Werkstoffe und Technologien für die Zukunft".
Das Internationale Kolloquium wird in Plenarsitzungen, Vorträgen und Workshops folgende Schwerpunkte diskutieren:
- Multimediale Kommunikation
- Drahtlose Kommunikationssysteme und Sensortechnologien
- Angewandte Elektromagnetik und Netzwerktheorie
- Mikro- und Nanoelektronik
- Funktionswerkstoffe und Bauelemente
- Elektrische Energietechnik
- Elektroprozesstechnik
