Die Fächer Volkswirtschaftslehre und Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Trier veranstalten eine Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema "Globalisierung, Neoliberalismus und Kapitalismuskritik" in der Diskussion werden Fragen erörtert wie zum Beispiel: Können freier Handel und globale Finanzmärkte weltweit zu mehr Wohlstand und weniger Armut führen? Gilt das auch aus der Sicht der weniger entwickelten Länder Lateinamerikas und Afrikas? An der Podiumsdiskussion beteiligen sich Bischof Dr. Reinhard Marx (Trier), Prof. Dr. El-Shagi (Volkswirtschaftslehre) und Prof. Dr. Hanns Maull (Politikwissenschaft).
Die Veranstaltung findet statt am Montag, 13. Februar 2006 in Hörsaal 6 (Gebäude C) um 18.00 Uhr.
