Auf der ACHEMA, der internationalen Messe für Chemische Technik, Umweltschutz und Biotechnologie, wird die Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main - University of Applied Sciences (FH FFM) gleich fünffach auf dem Frankfurter Messegelände vertreten sein. Vom 15. bis 19. Mai 2006 sind folgende Projekte zu sehen: "Neues Verfahren zur photokatalytischen Gasreinigung", "FEM-basierte Prozesssteuerung polymerer Weichschäume", "Modifiziertes kommerzielles Massenspektrometer" sowie die "17. Schule für Vakuumtechnik". Außerdem bietet die FH Frankfurt Informationen zum Gründernetz Route A 66. Die FH Frankfurt ist am Stand des TechnologieTransferNetzwerk Hessens (TTN-Hessen) zu finden (Halle 1.2, Stand C5-F8).
Auf der ACHEMA sind rund 4.000 Aussteller aus allen Kontinenten, sowie etwa 200.000 Teilnehmer aus hundert Ländern. Zentrales Anliegen der ACHEMA ist der interdisziplinäre Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen Wissenschaftlern, Entwicklern, Herstellern und Anwendern.
