Präsident der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft begrüßt die Entscheidung
In seiner Sitzung am 2. Juni 2006 hat sich der Stiftungsrat caesar für das von der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft vorgelegte Strukturkonzept zur strategischen Fortentwicklung des Forschungszentrums in Bonn entschieden. Das Konzept sieht eine Anbindung an die Max-Planck-Gesellschaft unter Beibehaltung des Status einer rechtsfähigen Stiftung von caesar sowie eine wissenschaftliche Fokussierung auf die Schwerpunkte Neurodegeneration, Neuroregeneration und Neurosensorik/Neuroprothetik unter enger Einbindung in das regionale Umfeld vor.
