Am 14. Juni 2006 wurde an der Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main - University of Applied Sciences (FH FFM) Andrea Ruppert zur neuen Vizepräsidentin gewählt. Sie löst Beate Finis Siegler ab, die noch bis zum 31. Dezember 2006 im Amt bleibt. Die Amtszeit von Andrea Ruppert beträgt drei Jahre (1. Januar 2007 bis 31. Dezember 2009).
Die Juristin Andrea Ruppert (44) ist Professorin am Fachbereich 3: Wirtschaft und Recht; ihre Schwerpunkte sind Wirtschaftsprivatrecht, Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht.
In den Verantwortungsbereich der Vizepräsidentin gehören unter anderem die Angelegenheiten von Studium, Lehre und Prüfungen, Qualitätsmanagement, Evaluation sowie der Frauenförderung.
