Europaweites Forschungsprojekt wird vom Dresdner Max-Planck-Institut
für molekulare Zellbiologie und Genetik koordiniert
Europas Wettbewerbsfähigkeit stärken, Forschung und Wissenschaft
fördern - das ist das Ziel des 6. Rahmenprogramms der Europäischen Union.
Mit 11 Mio. Euro unterstützt sie das Projekt "Endotrack" (Tracking the
endocytic routes of polypeptide growth factor receptor complexes and their
modulatory role on signaling), das den Zusammenhang zwischen
Endozytose und der Signalübertragung von Wachstumsfaktoren erforschen
soll. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Marino Zerial, Direktor am Max-Planck-
Institut für molekulare Zellbiologie und Genetik in Dresden, werden 12
Wissenschaftlergruppen und zwei Biotech-Firmen aus sieben verschiedenen
Ländern dieser Aufgabe nachgehen und die grundlegenden
Regulationsmechanismen dieser Prozesse untersuchen.
