Prof. Dr. phil. Sebastian Strobl vom Fachbereich Konservierung und Restaurierung der Fachhochschule Erfurt wurde Anfang Juli auf dem diesjährigen Kolloquium des Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi (CVMA) zum stellvertretenden Direktor des Internationalen Technischen Komitees für Konservierung gewählt. Bisher hatte er dort die Funktion des Sekretärs ausgefüllt.
Professor Strobl leitet seit Oktober 2005 in Erfurt die Glasrestaurierung. Zuvor war er Chefrestaurator für Glasmalerei an der Kathedrale von Canterbury.
