"Visiting Professor" in Wolverhampton

    Dr. Heinz-Dieter Knoell, Professor am Fachbereich Wirtschaft der Fachhochschule Nordostniedersachsen, wurde auf Vorschlag der Forschungskommission der University of Wolverhampton (GB) zum Visiting Professor of Software Quality Assurance berufen. Mit dieser Auszeichnung werden seine langjährigen Aktivitäten in Forschung und Lehre an der University of Wolverhampton anerkannt.
    Prof. Knoell, der nun der zweite Professor an der School of Computing and Information Technology der University of Wolverhampton ist, betreut seit 1987 die Austauschbeziehungen zwischen beiden Hochschulen. Seit 1992 ist er Associate Course Leader des dortigen Master of Science - Studiengangs "Advanced Software Technology" und seit 1996 Mitglied der Promotionskommission.
    "Ich verspreche mir vor allem eine weitere Intensivierung der gemeinsamen Forschungsarbeiten", so Prof. Knoell über seinen neuen Status. Ein gemeinsames Buch mit Kollegen in Wolverhampton über spezielle Software-Systeme ist bereits im Entstehen.
