Der Dekan der Fakultät Empirische Humanwissenschaften der Universität des Saarlandes lädt ein zur Antrittsvorlesung von Professor Dr. Frank M. Spinath.
Prof. Spinath ist seit Ende 2004 Professor an der Universität des Saarlandes. Mit seinen 37 Jahren zählt er zu den jüngsten Psychologie-Professoren Deutschlands. Für seine umfangreichen und innovativen Studien zur Zwillingsforschung ist der Lehrstuhlinhaber für Differentielle Psychologie und psychologische Diagnostik der Universität des Saarlandes bereits von der Internationalen Gesellschaft für Differentielle Psychologie (International Society for the Study of Individual Differences - ISSID) mit dem Early Career Development Award ausgezeichnet worden. Ausschlaggebend für die Auszeichnung des Wissenschaftlers waren insbesondere seine Forschungsprojekte an der Universität Bielefeld und am renommierten Institute of Psychiatry in London, wo er gemeinsam mit Robert Plomin die Intelligenz- und Sprachentwicklung von Zwillingskindern testete.
