am Samstag, dem 10. Februar, 20.00 Uhr,
in der Johanniskirche/Stadtmitte
"Nänie" von J. Brahms, "Requiem für Mignon" von Robert Schumann und
Bruckner-Motetten stehen als Hauptwerke auf dem Programm des Chores der
Universität.
Die beiden romantischen Trauergesänge basieren auf Texten von Friedrich
Schiller und Johann Wolfgang von Goethe und sind selten im Konzert zu hören.
Der Chor wird geleitet von Universitätsmusikdirektor Prof. Helmut Freitag.
An der Orgel begleitet Tobias Markutzik, Musikhochschule Saarbrücken, der
auch solistische Werke von L. Vierne und C. Franck spielen wird.
Die Abendkasse mit Karten zu 10,-/5,- Euro ist ab 19.00 Uhr geöffnet.
