Im Dezember 2006 hat der Physiker Markus Lippitz, der erste Juniorprofessor der Universität Stuttgart, seine Arbeit an der Uni aufgenommen. Seine Arbeitsfelder sind - entsprechend der Widmung seiner Professur - ultraschnelle Optik und Spektroskopie. Markus Lippitz (34), der zuletzt an der Uni Mainz tätig war, gehört zum 4. Physikalischen Institut der Universität Stuttgart und hat seinen Arbeitsplatz am Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperphysik in Büsnau. Dadurch wird die enge Zusammenarbeit der Stuttgarter Physiker mit ihren Kollegen vom Max-Planck-Instituts weiter gefestigt.
Um den ersten Stuttgarter Juniorprofessor und seine Arbeitsfelder vorzustellen, laden wir herzlich ein zum Pressegespräch am Freitag, den 9. Februar. Gesprächspartner sind Markus Lippitz und Harald Gießen vom 4. Physikalischen Institut.
