Professoren der Partner Universität Ljubljana in Slowenien sind der kommenden Woche auf Einladung des Institutes für Metallurgie zu Gast an der TU Clausthal.
Begrüßt vom designierten Rektor Professor Dr. Ernst Schaumann am Montagabend, erwartet die Hochschullehrer ein intensives Exkursions- und Vortragsprogramm. So stehen die Salzgitter AG und die Weltausstellung, die EXPO 2000 in Hannover auf dem Programm und am Mittwoch, den 7. Juni berichten Ljubljaner Wissenschaftler aus ihren aktuellen Forschungsarbeiten. Den "Weg vom Schrott zum Stahl" zeigt u.a. Professor Dr. Jakob Lamut auf, über "Technische Aspekte der Abfallverwertung in Bergwerken" spricht Professor Dr. Uros Bajzelj. Frau Professor Dr. Marija Kosee stellt ein Sol-Gelverfahren zur Herstellung dünner Filme aus Blei-Zirkonium-Titanoxiden (Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 vor.
In Fachgesprächen mit den Kooperationspartnern auf Clausthaler Seite sollen sodann gemeinsame Forschungsfelder abgesteckt werden.
