Das Institut für antikes Judentum und hellenistische Religionsgeschichte der Evangelisch-theologischen Fakultät veranstaltet vom 30. Juni bis 4. Juli 2007 ein internationales Symposium "Figures in Biblical and Cognate Literature. The Reception and Function of Biblical Figures in Deuterocanonical and Other Early Jewish Literature". Dies ist der dritte Kongreß der 2003 gegründeten "International Society for the Study of Deuterocanonical and Cognate Literature" (nach 2003 Salzburg und 2005 Barcelona), die sich der Erforschung der so genannten Apokryphen und Pseudepigraphen des Alten Testaments widmet.
Am Montag, 2. Juli, 20.15 Uhr findet eine öffentliche Vorlesung von Prof. Dr. Otto Kaiser (Marburg) im Hörsaal des Theologicums über das Thema "Daniel und die eschatologische Prophetie bei Flavius Josephus" statt.
