Neue Forschungsergebnisse des Leipziger Max-Planck-Instituts für evolutionäre Anthropologie zeigen, dass Schimpansen - im Gegensatz zum Menschen - so handeln, wie es traditionelle ökonomische Modelle vorhersagen. In ihrem aktuellen Forschungsprojekt verwendeten Keith Jensen, Josep Call und Michael Tomasello eine modifizierte Version des Ultimatum-Spiels, eines der am meisten genutzten und anerkannten Werkzeuge der modernen Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Science, 5. Oktober 2007).
