Professor Dr. Jochen Schweitzer ist neuer Vorsitzender der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Systemische Therapie und Familientherapie (DGSF). Die Mitgliederversammlung des Verbandes wählte den 53-jährigen Diplom-Psychologen von der Uni Heidelberg auf ihrer Jahrestagung in Neu-Ulm zu ihrem 1. Vorsitzenden. Schweitzer ist Nachfolger von Dr. med. Wilhelm Rotthaus, der dem Fachverband für Systemische Therapie, Beratung und Supervision seit seiner Gründung im Jahre 2000 vorstand. Neu im Vorstand ist ebenfalls Dr. Susanne Altmeyer, Neurologin und Psychosomatik-Oberärztin in Eschweiler, als Nachfolgerin von Professor Dr. med. Friedebert Kröger.
Der neue Vorsitzende der DGSF ist als Professor für Medizinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie im Zentrum Psychosoziale Medizin des Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg tätig und leitet dort die Sektion "Medizinische Organisationspsychologie". Ferner hat er in Heidelberg das Helm Stierlin Institut für systemische Weiterbildung mitbegründet.
