Max-Planck-Gesellschaft gelingen drei hochkarätige Berufungen an das neu gegründete Institut für Biologie des Alterns
Welche biologischen Vorgänge bestimmen die Lebenszeit und wie laufen sie ab? Diese und andere Fragen zum natürlichen Alterungsprozess stehen im Mittelpunkt der Grundlagenforschung wie sie an dem neuen Max-Planck-Institut für Biologie des Alterns künftig betrieben werden soll. Inzwischen haben alle drei Wunschkandidaten für die Riege der Gründungsdirektoren zugesagt: Prof. Nils-Göran Larsson, Prof. Linda Partridge und Prof. Adam Antebi.
