Mike Mehdi Falah, Absolvent des Studiengangs Informatik an der Fachhochschule (FH) Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, hat im Rahmen seiner Bachelorarbeit ein Konzept für ein WLAN-Funknetzwerk für das Siegtal-Gymnasium in Eitorf entwickelt. Ziel ist es, die Schule und die Computer-Arbeitsplätze der Schüler mit möglichst geringem technischem Aufwand mit schnellem Internet zu versorgen.
Über die Arbeit selbst und die Pläne für die Umsetzung sprechen Mike Mehdi Falah, Professor Dr. Stefan Böhmer, FH Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, als Betreuer der Arbeit, sowie Schulleiter Werner Teubler und Wolfgang Wirtz, Betreuer der IT des Siegtal-Gymnasiums.
