Der Kaiserslauterer Professor Helmut Neunzert bekommt am morgigen Dienstag, den 7. November 2000, von Ministerpräsident Kurt Beck den Verdienstorden des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz verliehen. Die Ordensbegründung wird bei der Verleihung bekannt gegeben.
Helmut Neunzert ist Professor für Mathematik an der Universität Kaiserslautern und Mitbegründer des Instituts für Techno- und Wirtschaftsmathematik (ITWM), das zum 1. Januar 2001 in die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft aufgenommen werden soll.
