Völlig nahtlos hat der Amtswechsel bei den Präsidenten an der Fach-hochschule Frankfurt am Main (FH FFM) funktioniert. Detlev Buchholz ist ab ersten September in der FH am Nibelungenplatz. Die Amtszeit seines Vorgängers Wolf Rieck endete am 31. August 2008.
Buchholz war bisher Dekan an der Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule in Darmstadt. Rieck hatte nicht wieder kandidiert und ist nun Gründungs-präsident der Vietnamesisch Deut-schen Universität (VDU) in Saigon.
