(pug) Kulturstaatsminister Prof. Dr. Julian Nida-Rümelin ist heute von Universitätspräsident Prof. Dr. Horst Kern zum Honorarprofessor ernannt worden. "Damit wollen wir dem Wissenschaftler und Hochschullehrer Nida-Rümelin unsere Wertschätzung ausdrücken und den Kontakt zu ihm halten", sagte Kern bei der Übergabe der Ernennungsurkunde heute Mittag. Prof. Nida-Rümelin bestätigte ausdrücklich, dass er seine Lehrtätigkeit sowie seine akademischen Funktionen bei Berufungs- und Habilitationsverfahren auch während seines Regierungsamtes aufrecht erhalten will.
Nida-Rümelin war 1998 von seiner Professur beurlaubt worden. Die Ernennung zum Honorarprofessor wurde jetzt aus dienstrechtlichen Gründen im Zusammenhang mit dem Regierungsamt erforderlich.
Seine nächste Lehrveranstaltung in Göttingen nimmt der Philosophieprofessor mit Spezialgebiet Ethik am 17. und 18. Februar wahr.
