Das Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) hat eine neue Leitung. Neuer Vorstandssprecher ist Prof. Dr. Uwe Morgner; neuer Geschäftsführer des Instituts ist Dr. Dietmar Kracht.
Prof. Dr. Uwe Morgner ist Direktor am Institut für Quantenoptik der Leibniz Universität Hannover, leitet dort die Gruppe Ultrafast Laser Optics und ist seit 2006 Mitglied des Vorstands des LZH.
Dr. Kracht schloss 1998 sein Physikstudium an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel ab. Bis 2002 war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Medizinischen Laserzentrum Lübeck. Seit 2002 ist Dr. Kracht im LZH tätig, wo er seit 2005 die Abteilung Laserentwicklung geleitet hat.
Der bisherige Geschäftsführer und Vorstandsprecher Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Andreas Ostendorf folgte einem Ruf an die Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
