Dr. Irena Okhrin wurde am 27. März 2009 zur Juniorprofessorin für Information and Operations Management an der wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) ernannt.
Die gebürtige Ukrainerin studierte in Lviv (Lemberg) und Frankfurt (Oder) angewandte Mathematik, Ökonomie und International Business Admnistration. In den Jahren 2004 bis 2007 war sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in einem gemeinsam von der Europa-Universität Viadrina und dem IHP Frankfurt (Oder) (Leibniz-Institut für innovative Mikroelektronik) getragenen Verbundprojekt "Geschäftsprozesse und Nutzerschnittstellen im Mobile Business" tätig. Sie
promovierte 2007 an der Europa-Universität mit einer Arbeit zum Thema "Inventory and Routing Models in Mobile Business Settings" und vertritt seit 2007 die Juniorprofessur für Information and Operations Management.
