Mit der neuen "Graduate School of Logistics" werden die Aktivitäten der erfolgreichen "Graduate School of Production, Engineering and Logistics" mit der Konzentration auf das Arbeits- und Forschungsfeld der Logistik fortgesetzt. Sie will die wirtschaftsnahe, anwendungsorientierte Forschung unterstützen, indem mindestens 50 Prozent aller Doktoranden mit Stipendien direkt aus der Wirtschaft finanziert werden. Mit dem geplanten Start der "Graduate School of Logistics" am 1. Oktober 2009 werden aus heutiger Sicht 14 Wirtschaftsstipendien existieren.
