Fünf Institute der Universität Jena mit neuen Direktoren seit 1. Oktober 2009
Jena (01.10.09) An fünf Instituten der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena haben turnusgemäß die Leitungen gewechselt.
Neuer Direktor des Instituts für Anglistik/Amerikanistik ist Prof. Dr. Laurenz Volkmann, der den Lehrstuhl für Englische Fachdidaktik innehat.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Halbig, Lehrstuhlinhaber für Praktische Philosophie/Ethik, steht nun dem Institut für Philosophie vor.
Zur neuen Direktorin des Instituts für Slawistik wurde Prof. Dr. Andrea Meyer-Fraatz gewählt. Sie ist Professorin für Slawische Philologie (Literaturwissenschaft).
Der Lehrstuhlinhaber für Mathematische Optimierung Prof. Dr. Ingo Althöfer ist neuer Direktor des Instituts für Angewandte Mathematik.
Mit der Leitung des Instituts für Festkörperphysik ist nun Prof. Dr. Carsten Ronning betraut. Der aktuelle Institutsdirektor hat den Lehrstuhl für experimentelle Physik/Festkörperphysik inne.
Die dreijährige Amtszeit der Direktoren und Direktorinnen hat mit dem heutigen 1. Oktober, dem Start des Wintersemesters 2009/10, begonnen.
