FIBAA and AQA (Moskow) signed cooperation agreement

    Bonn, October 9th, 2009
    Today the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) signed an cooperation agreement with the Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development (AQA), Moscow, to conduct joint accreditation procedures in russia.

    During their meeting in Bonn the FIBAA managing directors Hans-Juergen Brackmann and Heinz-Ulrich Schmidt and AQA representative director-general Aleksey Belokopytov emphasized the increasing importance of international cooperation in the sphere of higher education. Both institutions signed a contract on mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of quality evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance in higher education to promote the enhancement and the dissemination of best practices on the basis of the agreed procedures, respecting the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), in internal and external quality assurance.
