Die Einheit von Lehre und Forschung ist ein hochschultypisches Grundprinzip, nach dem auch an der Hochschule Wismar verfahren wird. Sozusagen öffentlich Rechenschaft über Forschungsaktivitäten wird u. a. bei Tagungen, Workshops usw. abgelegt.
An der Hochschule Wismar finden die Tage der Forschung in der Woche vom 14.5. - 18.5.2001 statt. Dabei werden die Ergebnisse der Forschung ausgewählter Gebiete einem interessierten Fachpublikum vorgestellt.
Im Einzelnen sind folgende Veranstaltungen vorgesehen:
