Seit dem 1. Oktober 2009 gibt es an der Fachhochschule Erfurt zwei neue Professoren:
An der Fakultät Sozialwesen wurde Prof. Dr. Walburga Hoff in der Fachrichtung Soziale Arbeit für das Lehrgebiet "Theorien, Methoden und Forschung in der Sozialen Arbeit" berufen.
An der Fakultät Bauingenieurwesen und Konservierung/ Restaurierung hat Dr.-Ing. habil. Jürgen Fischer in der Fachrichtung Bauingenieurwesen die Professur für "Massivbau / Ingenieurbauwerke" übernommen.
