FH Trier schließt eine neue Hochschulkooperation mit den USA. Mit Hilfe der Modefirma Lebeck International Fashion wird ein Semesterstipendium für besonders begabte Modedesigner realisiert.
Die Fachhochschule Trier schließt eine neue Hochschulkooperation im Fachbereich Modedesign mit dem Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA.
Professor Jo Meurer (Modedesign) konnte dabei die Modefirma Lebeck International Fashion als Sponsor für ein Semesterstipendium in beträchtlicher Höhe für besonders begabte Studierende aus Trier zum Studium in Florida gewinnen.
Am 1. Juni 2001 gegen 11.00 Uhr wird der Präsident des Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Prof. Kalaboke, der Pädagogische Leiter, Prof. Schwab sowie Dr. Lebeck, Geschäftsführerin der Firma Lebeck in den neu gestalteten Räumlichkeiten des Irminenfreihofs mit der FH-Präsidentin Dr. Ehmke und Professor Meurer den Vertrag besiegeln.
