Mit der neuen Reihe "Osteuropa verstehen" bietet das Zentralinstitut für Mittel- und Osteuropastudien (ZIMOS) an der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt mehrere Fortbildungskurse an. Die Veranstaltungen wenden sich vor allem an Mitarbeiter von Unternehmen, Behörden und Organisationen, die beruflich mit den Staaten Osteuropas in Berührung kommen sowie an Multiplikatoren wie Journalisten und Lehrer. Das erste Intensivseminar befasst sich mit Russland und findet von 4. bis 7. Oktober 2001 statt.
