Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pathologie e.V. hat im Rahmen der 85. Jahrestagung in Münster turnusgemäß ihren neuen Vorstand gewählt.
Vorsitzender der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Pathologie ist nun Prof. Dr.med. Harald Stein, Leiter des Instituts für Pathologie am Fachbereich Humanmedizin der Freien Universität Berlin / Universitätsklinikum Benjamin Franklin (UKBF).
Neuer Schatzmeister ist Prof. Dr.med. Manfred Stolte, Institut für Pathologie, Universität Bayreuth.
Schriftführer bleibt Prof. Dr.med. Thomas Kirchner, Universität Erlangen.
Die Rudolf-Virchow-Medaille 2001 der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Pathologie ging an Prof. Dr.med. Roland Bässler, Fulda.
Den Rudolf-Virchow-Preis 2001 erhielt Priv.Doz. Dr.med. Thomas Brabletz, Erlangen.
