Zum Gedenken an Wolfgang Peuker, Professor für Malerei an der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee von 1993 bis zu seinem plötzlichen Tod am 9. Mai 2001, richtet die Kunsthochschule die Ausstellung "Wolfgang Peuker. Rückblick - der Maler und seine Schüler" aus. Die Ausstellung wird zum großen Teil von Schülern und Schülerinnen Peukers vorbereitet.
Zu sehen sind neben Originalen Wolfgang Peukers Arbeiten von Sylvia Ernst, Stefanie Hillich, Stella K. Krehl, Isabel Pauer, Sibylle Prange, Sandra Rienäcker, Philipp Schack und Christian Thoelke.
Der Rektor der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee (KHB), Prof. Rainer W. Ernst, eröffnet die Ausstellung am Donnerstag, dem 18. Oktober um 17.00 Uhr im Foyer der KHB. Es wird Professor Ulrich Hachulla aus Leipzig sprechen.
Die Ausstellung dauert vom 19. Oktober bis zum 16. November 2001, sie ist montags bis freitags von 8.00 - 20.00 Uhr im Foyer der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, Bühringstraße 20, 13086 Berlin, Tel. 030-47705-0 zu besichtigen.
